Lucia Moradian was born on 2013 in Tehran. She is studying at the fifth grade of Arax-Armenian National School in Iran. She began to study piano playing at the age of 5 under the supervision of her mother Rebecca Ashooghian, then Dilbar Hakimova and since 2021 Armen Babakhanian. Also she takes Music Theory, Solfeggio and Harmony lessons from Vache Sharafyan. Lucia has
already participated in some music festivals and piano competitions. She is the winner of AGBU Armenia 2023 Piano Competition( Grand Prix) and Connecticut Chopin Institute Future Stars 2022 International Piano Competition( First Prize). She is also the prize winner of the 2nd
Harmonium OnlinePlus International Piano Competition 2021 in Armenia and also Selected Masterclass Performer of the UCSI-5th International Piano Festival and Competition 2022 in Malaysia. She was awarded by the Diploma at the New Names of Armenia 11th International Festival of Young Talented Musicians-Performers 2022, Cultural Festival of the Armenian Education Council of Tehran( 2023) and Jaber Ebn Hayan Festival of the Ministry of Education of Iran( 2023). Lucia has already participated in some Professors such as Natalia Trull, Pascal Godart, Minoru Miura and Ursula von Lerber masterclasses.
