YERAZART BRASS AND WIND MASTERCLASSES AND A SHOWCASE

On June 9, the YerazArt Academy in collaboration with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra was making a showcase concert held at the Aram Khachaturian House Museum at 17:00. The event took place after intensive studies started on June 4 with presentation of brass quartet, wind trio and solo performances of the pupils of the academy.
The principals of the ANPO, 3 Armenian teachers and 4 foreign nationals, presented to interested Armenian public the result of their ongoing work with Armenian talents.
In total, in the Academy, there are 5 young French Hornists (teacher Paolo Rizzuto, Italy), 4 trombonists (teacher Juan Pardo Gil, Spain), 2 trumpeters (teacher Stefano Flaibani, Italy), one oboist (teacher Harutyun Shakhkyan, Armenia), 1 bassoonist (teacher Andranik Kochar, Armenia) and a new discipline of bass trombone will be presented by Matias Varela from the Netherlands, whilst Narek Avagyan (flute, Armenia) will present his recent work with talented flutist.
It is more than 5 years the YerazArt Academy in collaboration with the ANPO is providing regular studies to talented Armenian brass and wind pupils. The age of the pupils varies from 14 to 20. Some of them already received proposals to continue their education in prestigious foreign conservatories.
The goal of the Academy is to train brass and wind instrumentalists who continue their career with the ANPO, or another professional orchestra.
