Menua Melik-Haykazyan (born on 18th March 2013) is an Armenian little polyglot known for his exceptional musical, mathematical, linguistic and other skills. He is a 6th-grade student at a school named after A. Shirvanzade. Menua studies multiple languages, including Armenian, Russian, French, English, Chinese, and Hindi. He also attends the A. Hekimyan Music School, where he studies drums, marimba, flute, guitar, violin, piano, academic vocals, and composition. In summer of 2023, he participated in the Kapan music festival, took part with his performance, and attended master classes led
by internationally renowned pianists. In winter, he performed at the COAF 20th Gala Concert in New York, held in Cipriani Hall. In New Jersey, Menua meets the world famous singer Gloria Gaynor(“I Will Survive”) at her home. He received an invitation to participate in the “Moscow Meets Friends” music festival organized by the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, which will take place in October in Moscow. He is a member of the “New Names” program, candidate of “Meknark” targeted talent development program. Additionally, he participates in the “Creative Art Studio” painting studio, where he takes part in various exhibitions. He is a member of the “Reebok Sports Club,” where
he practices MMA, squash, spochan, break dance, anti-gravity yoga, swimming. Menua also writes computer games using the Scratch programming environment. Previously, he attended the “Incourt” tennis club, the “Gazprom” figure skating school, the chess school named after L. Aronian and G. Sargsyan, danced for 5 years in the “Barekamutyun” ensemble of the Hovsep Shamamian studio. Menua wrote his first complete poem at the age of three and began composing music two years later. As an external student, he passed the examination for one academic year, a unique achievement in Armenia. At the age of eight, over eight months, he achieved the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd ranks in chess.
