David Abrahamyan is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Dakapp. David studied viola under Maestro Oleg Lev, Diemut Poppen and Boris Belkin and played in the Mozart Orchestra under Claudio Abbado. In 2013 he imagined an app where masterclasses with the greatest musicians in the world would be accessible to all, and the rest is history. David shares his time between the Artistic Direction of Dakapp, selecting the best repertoire and interpreters but also negotiating with academic institutions and corporate partners. He continues to perform around the world as a chamber musician playing with musicians such as Daishin Kashimoto, Sergey Babayan, Sebastian Klinger, Diemut Poppen, Clara-Jumi Kang and Evgeny Sudbin.
