The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is making its debut tour in China by performing 10 concerts in nine Chinese cities. The tour, which started with shows on Dec 27 and 28 at Shanghai Grand Theater will end on Jan 9 at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.

As the last main course of the Russian-style meal, the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra performed in the National Theatre on January 9, 2020, and performed very well! As one of the important performance groups of the former Soviet Union, the orchestra’s “signature” track is the works of Armenian composer Khachaturian, and the selected tracks from Tchaikovsky to Prokofiev are Russian.

The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra triumphed under the baton of Eduard Topchjan at their sold-out concert, hosted by the Armenian Ambassaor in Germany and attended by Armenian’s president, Armen Sarkisyan.

On the occasion of the 115th birthday of the great composer Aram Khachaturian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Smbatyan on November 28 invited the Berlin public to a concert at the renowned Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt. The sold-out event featured the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and was especially honored by the presence of Armenian President Armen Sarkisyan.
