Endowment Foundation

Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra is the national center of professional orchestral music in Armenia. We created a Business Plan to set out our strategy up to 2015. All our activities throughout this period will contribute to the delivery of our core missions:

- to inspire, motivate and empower the widest range of people through excellent live orchestral music
– to sustain, develop and promote Armenian orchestral music
– to keep the high level of cultural awareness of local audience

APO is committed to promoting innovative and adventurous orchestral programs of excellent quality to new and existing audiences. We feature the works of Armenian composers, wherever possible and are committed to supporting the performance of new orchestral work in our programs. Another important mission that we implement is to sustain the level of cultural, musical awareness in local audience, and therefore we play a lot of classical and operatic music in addition to national and contemporary music.

To implement the missions the APO needs to have a financial stability and the only contemporary way to have it is to create the Endowment Foundation.

Now you are able to download and read the Business Plan and if you agree with us we would welcome your joining us and walking together into the future.

Arghamanyan’s new all-Rachmaninov recital reveals a more disciplined, controlled, architecturally aware, and expressively sophisticated artist. [...]
